About the Editor

 

Max is a legal headhunter at MRA Search, specialised in the Paris market. He works closely with partners at leading US, Magic Circle, UK and Tier 1 French firms, helping them build their teams.

In the last year, he has placed 17 associates into firms such as White & Case, Bredin Prat, Weil Gotshal, Herbert Smith Freehills, Mayer Brown, Dechert, King & Spalding, and Eversheds. 

​An unregistered barrister, Max was called to the Bar of England and Wales in November 2022, having received an Outstanding on the BPC and a Distinction on the LLM at the University of Law. He was awarded the University of Law Prize for Civil Advocacy.

Previously, Max was an actor in the United States performing in multiple shows, most recently as a principal role in 'The Play That Goes Wrong' off Broadway. He enjoys fencing, skiing, and is currently undertaking the WSET Level 2 Award in Wine.
